Broadcast Journalist

I got my start in radio as a teenager, invited to co-host a local programme made by young people, for young people. That early spark ignited a career in broadcasting that’s now spanned over 20 years. I quickly moved into producing and presenting my own weekly show —writing scripts, selecting music, conducting interviews, and running the technical desk solo. I discovered a natural ability to communicate with clarity and confidence, think on my feet, and connect with audiences in a way that felt authentic and relatable.

My first interviews, as a teenager, were with Christian music icons Rebecca St. James and Rob Kenoly. Since then, I’ve conducted hundreds of interviews across platforms including BBC and Premier Christian Radio. My guest list spans global voices in faith, music, and culture —from Russell Watson, Aled Jones, and Stephen Baldwin to Rev Libby Lane, Tim Keller, John and Lisa Bevere, Lecrae, TobyMac, Amy Grant, Matt Redman, and Fred Hammond. From icons to innovators, each guest has brought something unique—and every exchange has left a lasting mark.

National Breakfast Presenter

By 25, I was one of the youngest presenters to anchor a national breakfast show —an uncommon milestone. Hosting for UCB and Premier Christian Radio, I built a loyal listener base and became a trusted voice across diverse faith and social communities. I’ve since hosted a wide range of programmes across music and talk radio—from drivetime and daytime shows to platforms for emerging artists and women’s hours—reaching over one million weekly listeners across the world’s leading Christian broadcast networks.

Live Event Hosting & On-Location Broadcasts

Delivering live coverage during pivotal cultural and faith moments has been one of the most defining aspects of my broadcasting career. I was on air hosting drivetime shows when the world learned of the passing of Billy Graham and Aretha Franklin—guiding listeners through real-time tributes and reflecting on their lasting impact. I also anchored live coverage of the 2011 Royal Wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales, bringing warmth, context, and a sense of occasion to a historic national celebration. These moments called for sensitivity, clarity, and composure—skills I’ve honed through years of live broadcasting.

I’ve hosted and produced live media events across some of the UK’s most iconic venues. I served as compère for the music stage at Big Church Day Out—the UK’s largest Christian music festival—and hosted album launch livestreams for artists such as Tim Hughes and Bright City on behalf of their label. I’ve also produced and presented live broadcasts from prestigious locations including London’s O2 Arena, Wembley Arena, ExCeL London, and Big Church Day Out, creating meaningful moments and authentic connection with international audiences.

Film Coverage

A trusted and sought-after voice among faith audiences, I’ve played a significant role in amplifying the reach of major film releases within the Christian community. More than just coverage, my on-air recommendations and personal engagement moved listeners into action—resulting in measurable audience take up in cinemas and at-home entertainment. Highlights include premiers at ODEON Leicester Square for Noah, Unbroken, Life of Pi, and Darkest Hour, as well as interviews with Rooney Mara (Mary Magdalene), Joseph Fiennes (Risen), and director Terry George (The Promise). During the excitement of the 2012 London Olympics, I had the special privilege of covering the remastered release of Chariots of Fire, sharing the inspiring story of British track legend and missionary, Eric Liddell. I’ve always loved movies, and being trusted to guide faith audiences toward films that resonate has been a privilege.

Leadership in Faith & Media

As a senior executive and trustee, I’ve contributed to the growth and direction of several influential organisations. At Jerusalem Productions—the home of creative film agency Four:8—I identified critical organisational needs and led the trustees in restructuring the executive leadership, creating a more agile and effective senior management team that positioned the organisation for sustainable growth.

My leadership extended beyond governance. I was a key decision-maker on the prestigious Jerusalem Award jury, held annually at BAFTA in Piccadilly, where I helped set the standards for excellence in faith-based broadcasting.

Across all my roles, I have consistently exercised visionary leadership—whether spearheading initiatives, mentoring emerging leaders, or guiding organizations through change—with a commitment to excellence and mission-driven impact that has advanced the reach and influence of faith media and creative arts globally.

Brand Visibility

I’ve played a key role in elevating the national profile of leading faith-based media networks. At Premier Christian Radio, I independently originated and delivered an IRN Award-nominated interview for the breakfast show—securing the network’s most high-profile feature to date. The interview reached an estimated 263 million households and was syndicated across major outlets including BBC News at Six and The Guardian. This success directly led to an exclusive business partnership with a prominent public figure—an opportunity that would not have materialised without my initiative. The impact of this work significantly boosted the station’s viability and strengthened its long-term media partnerships.

At TBN, I led UK partnerships and shaped original content across the programming slate. I secured high-profile guests including Franklin Graham, Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, and Bishop Sarah Mullally DBE, and oversaw talent casting for programmes such as TBN Presents and Fit for Purpose—a leadership series I conceptualized and developed. I also brought influential church and network leaders like Steve Uppal and Rachel Hughes onto the network. My strategic approach to talent acquisition significantly elevated TBN’s national profile, securing its most high-profile interview to date—one of only three granted alongside BBC Hardtalk and Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Media Placement & Exposure

I’ve also supported musicians and authors in expanding their reach through strategic media exposure. I secured press coverage for leading labels and publishers on prestigious platforms, including BBC Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday—the UK’s most listened-to radio station, with a weekly audience of over seven million. Clients included Moody Publishers, Hillsong, and Integrity Music, each gaining greater visibility through trusted media outlets. Beyond media placements, I’ve shaped campaign strategy, refined messaging, and helped creatives amplify their voice. This work has led to increased audience engagement, stronger sales performance, and wider ministry impact across international platforms.

Church Planting & Media Development

Finally, I’ve pioneered impactful church and media ministries from the ground up. As a founding member of a new church in Manchester—now a thriving multi-site and one of the largest in the north of England—I helped shape its growth and influence from the earliest days. I also played a key role in establishing an international community in Copenhagen which, with over 140 nationalities represented in the church, is a vibrant hub of multiculturalism. In media, I’ve launched two radio stations and led the development of multi-platform broadcasting ministries across radio, television, and digital—each one extending reach, amplifying impact and influence. My leadership has supported church outreach globally, equipping ministries and individuals to think bigger, grow strategically and connect with diverse communities across continents.
